Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Location: Remote

Work Shift: AEST (between 9am-4pm)

Working Hours: 20 hours (Part-Time)

Job Description:

Our company is seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team. This remote position will be based in the Philippines and will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts, email campaigns, social media management, and various administrative tasks related to our e-commerce platform. We are looking for an individual who is versatile, trainable, and eager to contribute to our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Create and schedule engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Monitor social media accounts, respond to customer inquiries, and engage with our online community.
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics to optimize strategy.


Content Creation:

  • Assist in the creation of blog posts, product descriptions, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual content, such as images and videos, for online and offline marketing campaigns.


Email Marketing:

  • Create email marketing content calendar for 2 EDMs per week on a 30 day rolling calendar,
  • Create email marketing campaigns, including creating email content and managing subscriber lists.
  • Analyze email campaign results and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Set up email flows for new customers and abandoned cart flows


Market Research:

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and consumer behavior to inform marketing strategies.
  • Compile and organize data to help make data-driven marketing decisions.


Customer Engagement:

  • Collaborate with the customer support team to gather customer feedback and insights to improve marketing strategies.
  • Monitor online reviews and ratings, and address customer concerns as needed.


Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support including assisting with customer emails in the shared email inbox.


Shopify Product Management:

  • Aid in the management of product listings on our Shopify platform.
  • Update product descriptions, pricing, and other details as required.
  • Ensure the accuracy and uniformity of product information on our e-commerce website.
  • Perform SEO audits and suggested fixes to website to improve SEO
  • Monitor site speed to ensure it is at industry standard

Google Merchant Center:

  • Provide support in managing Google Merchant Center to ensure product compliance with Google Shopping policies.
  • Upload product data feeds and optimize listings to enhance visibility and performance in Google Shopping.
  • Monitor and resolve any issues related to product data, feed quality, and compliance with Google's requirements.



Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms, particularly Klaviyo, MailChimp.
  • Proficient with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
  • Proficient in Google Merchant Center and Google Ads.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.
