About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development, with expertise in GraphQL, Liquid, and React. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Shopify stores, ensuring seamless functionality, and delivering exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shopify Store Development:
- Design, develop, and customize Shopify themes and templates using Liquid to create visually appealing and responsive e-commerce websites.
- Build and optimize Shopify apps and integrations to enhance store functionality.
- Front-End Development:
- Develop dynamic and interactive user interfaces using React.js and other modern front-end technologies.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Back-End Development:
- Utilize GraphQL to efficiently fetch and manipulate data from Shopify’s backend.
- Implement custom APIs and third-party integrations to extend Shopify’s capabilities.
- Performance Optimization:
- Optimize Shopify stores for speed, scalability, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Testing & Debugging:
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure bug-free and seamless functionality.
- Implement best practices for code quality and maintainability.
- Stay Updated:
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Shopify, e-commerce, and web development technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4 to 7 years of experience in Shopify development.
- Proficiency in Liquid, GraphQL, and React.js.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of Shopify’s theming system and app development.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with performance optimization and SEO best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Shopify Plus.
- Knowledge of Node.js or other backend technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Experience with UX/UI design principles.
