Senior Shopify Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes and plugins to meet client needs.
• Integrate third-party apps and platforms (BigCommerce, WooCommerce) as required.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality ecommerce solutions.
• Optimize Shopify sites for speed, scalability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify configurations and integrations.
• Stay updated with Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce platform updates and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with demonstrable portfolio of Shopify projects.
• Experience with BigCommerce and WooCommerce development, including plugin development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including ES6), and Liquid templating language.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices and user experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field (preferred).
