We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify Full Stack Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development, with a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, including Liquid, React.js, and GraphQL. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Shopify stores that deliver seamless user experiences and outstanding performance.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify Store Development
- Design & Build: Create, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and templates using Liquid to build visually appealing, responsive e-commerce websites.
- App & Integration Development: Develop and optimize Shopify apps, integrating third-party services to extend store functionality.
Front-End Development
- UI/UX Implementation: Develop dynamic and interactive user interfaces using React.js along with HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Responsive Design: Ensure all storefronts are optimized for cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Back-End Development
- Data Management: Utilize GraphQL to efficiently fetch and manipulate data from Shopify’s backend systems.
- API Integration: Implement custom APIs and manage integrations with external platforms to enhance the capabilities of Shopify stores.
Performance Optimization
- Speed & Scalability: Optimize store performance for speed and scalability while adhering to SEO best practices.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs to maintain a seamless shopping experience.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Teamwork: Work closely with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Quality Assurance
- Testing: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure robust, error-free functionality.
- Best Practices: Implement and advocate for coding best practices, including version control (Git), documentation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in Shopify development, e-commerce technologies, and industry best practices.
- Innovation: Continuously seek ways to improve code quality, user experience, and overall store performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 4 to 7 years of Shopify development experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Liquid, React.js, and GraphQL.
- Web Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- APIs & Integrations: Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.
- Version Control: Proficiency in using Git and managing collaborative codebases.
- Performance & SEO: Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Shopify Plus: Experience working with Shopify Plus is a plus.
- Additional Backend Experience: Familiarity with Node.js or other backend technologies.
- DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment processes.
- UX/UI: Understanding of user experience and design principles to help bridge the gap between design and technical implementation.
