Description

Join Visualsoft as a Senior Solutions Consultant (Shopify) and become an integral part of our mission to provide exceptional digital solutions that empower our clients' businesses. In this key role, you'll leverage your expertise to consult with clients and provide tailor-made solutions that enhance their eCommerce performance.

As a Senior Solutions Consultant (Shopify), you'll collaborate closely with the Solutions Director, Sales, and Technical teams to support the design and implementation of advanced technical solutions that meet client requirements.

This role is critical in the pre-sales phase, scoping projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions. You will work closely with clients to uncover their needs, craft innovative solutions tailored to their challenges, and deliver compelling presentations that showcase the value of the solutions. Additionally, you will play a key part in client relationship management, project success, coaching other consultants, and driving long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Pre-Sales and Sales Support:
    • Lead the technical and solutions aspects of pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical positioning, and responses to proposals.
    • Work with the Solutions Director and Sales team to assess client challenges and develop comprehensive solutions that align with their strategic goals.
  2. Client Consultation and Requirements Gathering:
    • Engage with clients to gather detailed requirements, define business objectives, and understand the overall project scope.
    • Collaborate with Commercial and Technical teams to ensure solutions meet client needs and align with internal capabilities
  3. Solution Design and Documentation:
    • Develop robust solution architectures and create technical documentation that outlines assumptions, risks, and requirements.
    • Draft clear, concise Statements of Work (SOWs) and proposals that accurately represent the proposed solutions and client needs.
  4. Project Management and Client Success Support:
    • Work with the Project Management and Client Success teams to ensure solutions are effectively implemented and meet client expectations.
    • Manage and prioritise multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and coordination between teams.
  5. Solution Presentation and Demonstration:
    • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to clients, explaining how proposed solutions will address their business challenges.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the delivery process to ensure confidence and satisfaction.
  6. Technical Expertise and Market Knowledge:
    • Stay updated on Shopify platform developments, industry trends, and competitor platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Magento, BigCommerce) to guide solution designs.
    • Serve as a knowledge resource within the team, helping to educate colleagues and clients on new technologies and best practices.
  7. Coaching and Development of Solutions Consultants:
    • Mentor and support junior Solutions Consultants, sharing best practices, providing guidance on complex projects, and helping them develop their technical and client-facing skills.
    • Lead by example, fostering a collaborative team environment and supporting the development of high-performing consultants within the organisation.


Requirements
    • Extensive proven experience in a technical consulting or pre-sales role, ideally within eCommerce or a digital agency.
    • Strong expertise in eCommerce platforms, particularly Shopify, including integration capabilities and ecosystem knowledge.
    • Proven ability to gather and translate complex client requirements into actionable, scalable solutions.
    • Familiarity with system integrations, API usage, technical documentation, and writing comprehensive proposals.

Desirables (but not essential!)

    • Experience with headless commerce, decoupled architectures, and platforms such as Magento, Salesforce, or BigCommerce.
    • Proven experience of collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to business growth through technical expertise.
