We are seeking a talented Shopify Plus Technical Lead who is looking for an opportunity to showcase their talent in an environment that encourages creativity and innovation. Your focus will be growing the eCommerce practice at RSM with emphasis on the Shopify ecosystem, help to define the delivery methodology, and have direct impact on the Firm and client success. Responsibilities:    

  • Engage with clients and prospects to define the solution using Shopify’s technology ecosystem, and other relevant tools and integrations
  • Work with the team to estimate effort, timeline, and budget for new and existing implementations
  • Lead project teams to understand and find creative solutions to client’s requirements
  • Design and build cutting-edge websites and web-based applications

Basic Qualifications:      

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience) required 
  • Must have 5+ years of professional experience in web application design and development
  • Experience working in an Architect or project lead role on multiple Shopify Plus implementations
  • Experience and interest in React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, other modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
  • Experience in developing solutions to solve complex business needs
  • Exhibits a sense of urgency when dealing with break fix issues that directly impact end user utilization
  • Able to efficiently and effectively manage problem solving activities either in a team format or individually; must be able to communicate with diverse groups of users and developers
  • Exceptional attention to detail and knowledge of coding/application design best practices
  • Excellent client skills and customer relationship management skills      
  • Solid understanding of business and information technology processes      
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Developed complex enterprise Shopify solutions, including apps, extensions
  • Implemented Shopify POS and POS extensions
  • Experience working on modern eCommerce platforms other than Shopify Plus
  • Experience with marketing tools and technologies (Marketing Cloud / CRM integrations)
  • Experience with web-based extensions and scripting techniques - JavaScript experience preferred
  • Experience with React, Angular, Node.JS, Backbone.JS, Bootstrap, HTML/HTML5, SASS, and GitHub preferred
  • Familiarity with Responsive Web Design and Mobile application development is a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite / Figma

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $91,200 - $172,700

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
