About the role
Our client is looking for a skilled Mid to Senior-Level Front-End Web Developer to join our growing Marketing team. This role is ideal for an experienced developer who thrives at the intersection of marketing, design, and technology — someone who can build beautiful, customer-facing web experiences and has a deep understanding of how thoughtful development can drive performance, conversion, and revenue.
While this role is primarily front-end focused, we’re seeking a developer who is comfortable with light full-stack work, including basic back-end integrations and working with APIs. You’ll work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Creative Content Manager, and Growth Marketing Team to bring marketing initiatives to life, continuously optimize our website, and enhance user experience at every touchpoint.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and optimize all customer-facing web assets, ensuring seamless performance and functionality.
- Develop custom landing pages and digital experiences from scratch, ensuring they are optimized for conversion.
- Execute front-end development tasks using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React (or similar frameworks).
- Implement Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) best practices to drive performance and increase conversion rates, working closely with the Growth Marketing team to analyze performance.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to translate Figma/Adobe XD designs into responsive, high-performing web pages.
- Work with APIs and handle light back-end integrations as needed, ensuring smooth site functionality, including cart and checkout processes.
- Manage the development and optimization of Shopify themes, landing pages, and other eCommerce elements within the Shopify platform.
- Partner with the Growth & Performance Marketing teams to rapidly test, iterate, and deploy site updates.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in website functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Perform A/B testing and data analysis to ensure continuous improvement in landing page performance.
- Take ownership of custom functionality on the site and ensure it aligns with marketing objectives, while maintaining brand consistency.
- Optimize and run A/B tests on landing pages to improve conversion rates.
- Prepare sites for major events, such as product launches or special promotions, including building assets and ensuring site readiness.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure website updates are aligned with campaigns and new initiatives.
- Ensure smooth functionality and custom features on the website, working with both front-end and back-end components.
Requirements:
- At least 5-7 years of front-end web development experience, specifically in eCommerce.

Extensive experience with Shopify development, including building and optimizing custom Shopify themes and landing pages.

Proven expertise in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) with experience in A/B testing, data interpretation, and analysis.

Experience working closely with marketing and growth teams to assess landing page performance and optimize for conversion.

Strong attention to detail with a data-driven, iterative approach to problem-solving.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with the front-end UI/UX design process and the ability to optimize web pages to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.

Comfortable with custom functionality and back-end development within Shopify, such as handling API integrations and checkout processes.
