Job Description:
We are urgently looking for Shopify Developers to join our IT team! We are looking for candidates who will create rich, interactive solutions that fulfill our company's eCommerce requirements. We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems. Your duties and responsibilities should include:
- Developing ecommerce sites on Shopify platform
- Developing custom Shopify themes
- Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to Shopify
- Integrating third-party and platform supported apps in the sites
- Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in Shopify platform
- Page speed optimization of Shopify sites
- Creating responsive website designs
- Working with version control systems such as GIT / SVN
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Understanding of PHP back-end development
