In just a few years, The Level Group has become one of the leading global e-commerce partners for luxury fashion brands. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Lead to join our team and drive our e-commerce projects to the next level.

The Shopify Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality e-commerce solutions using the Shopify platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Shopify's architecture, APIs, and ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing custom Shopify themes, apps, and integrations, as well as a strong background in front-end and back-end development.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Design and develop custom Shopify themes from scratch, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Develop and customize Shopify apps to meet specific business requirements.
Integrate third-party applications and APIs seamlessly with Shopify.
Develop custom checkout components.
Integrate third-party applications via job ( eg: feed generations ).
Optimize and improve the performance, security, and scalability of e-commerce websites.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Shopify platform.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce and Shopify development.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

Who you are:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years focused on Shopify plus development.
Proven track record of developing and launching successful Shopify stores.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
Experience with Shopify’s Polaris component library.
Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js is a plus.
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have:

Experience with headless Shopify setups and GraphQL.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
