Shopify Product Manager

Summary:

We are looking for a Shopify Product Manager to oversee the replatforming of Musictoday's numerous e-commerce stores to Shopify. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement product strategies, enhance user experience, and drive sales growth for some of your favorite artists and brands. Your work will directly impact the success of these artists and brands, making their merchandise more accessible to fans worldwide.

As the liaison between Engineering, clients, and business teams, the Product Manager advocates for client needs, aligns features with business goals, and defines success metrics. They ensure requirements are clearly defined and understood, working with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a thorough grasp of the platform's features and integrations.

This position collaborates closely with senior leadership. Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge the status quo are essential for driving business growth.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Oversee the re-platforming of multiple e-commerce stores to Shopify.


• Develop and execute product strategies for the Shopify stores.


• Collaborate with client services, customer service, design, marketing, and development teams to identify, research, and implement new features and improvements.


• Monitor and analyze store performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.


• Ensure the Shopify store is optimized for SEO and user experience.


• Stay updated with the latest e-commerce trends and Shopify updates.


• Provide regular reports on store performance and project progress.

Education, Qualifications, and experience:

• Expertise in Shopify is required.


• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related experience with eCommerce technology..


• Experience in multi-store environments is highly desirable.


• Excellent project management and organizational skills.


• Proficiency in Shopify, including themes, apps, and integrations.


• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, adaptability, leadership, and a passion for the music industry.

Working conditions:

• This position is based in an office environment (remote office optional).


• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, etc.

Physical requirements:

• Sits for extended periods of time throughout the day at a desk or in a work or meeting space.


• Stands and walks regularly throughout the day to include going up and down stairs


• Exposed to typical office environment conditions and moderate noise levels on a regular basis
